ABOUT ME

Gabrielle Tola, also known as neptunemuse, is an Ecuadorian-Egyptian independent R&B/Soul artist, singer-songwriter, poet, holistic astrologer, creative director, dancer, and first-generation college graduate based on Miccosukee-Seminole Land.

 

Gaby is dedicated to creating a lush sonic and visual dreamscape for lovers of the world through her music, writing, communal dreaming, and pleasure activism. She strives to heal and uplift others through her artistic expression, QTBIPOC centered astrology consultation business, magical realism and romance.

Gaby holds a B.A in Creative Writing with minors in Latinx Diaspora Studies/Music and is the recipient of the Gloria L. Hobbs Inspiration award. Her first zine Rhythm and Pleasure (2021) and poetry chapbook The Memory of Water (2022) are self published but you can also find her writing and music featured on various platforms such as VoyageMIA, the Ithacan, the Pandemic Post, Voicemail Poems, and O'Miami's recent anthology, Waterproof: Evidence of a Miami Worth Remembering.
